It looks like once again, parts of California are headed into another drought. With the Sierra snowpack at less than 60% and water levels in the state's reservoirs falling to 50% this summer is not looking good.
There are many alternatives to water issues here in California but environmentalists don't seem to like any of them including desalination. It seems the current strategy to kill the project is to pile on as many conditions as possible, making the Huntington Beach project completely infeasible to build. It's time for the Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Control Board to move this project forward.
